Job Description
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Principal & Project Engineers to deliver Electrical Hardware components, including wiring harnesses, for the Electric Vehicle Program.
* Develop comprehensive program plans covering scope, resources, budget, and milestones within the Electrical Hardware team.
* Identify technical risks early and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project timelines and outcomes.
* Monitor progress against KPIs, address deviations proactively, and ensure timely resolutions.
* Maintain communication within the Electrical department and with other teams such as Software and Feature Development to provide updates and gather feedback.
* Manage engineering changes, evaluate their impact, and obtain approvals as needed.
* Represent Electrical Engineering in program status reviews, reporting on deliverables like BOM, DFMEA, DVP&R, etc.
Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum 10 years in project engineering within the automotive industry.
* Extensive experience with product development of ECUs, Domain Controllers, EDS, Infotainment, ADAS.
* Deep understanding of Automotive New Product Development processes and milestones.
* Experience managing electrical component development from concept to launch.
* Proficiency with engineering tools such as Polarion, JIRA, and Microsoft Office.
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics or related fields; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
* Leadership, managerial, and project management qualifications are desirable.
* Valid full driving license is essential.
