We have a talented team of 400 people across Ireland and the UK and are expanding rapidly to meet growth plans, especially in the UK.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist Project Manager, engineering, and project controls with drafting work scopes and man-hour estimates for proposals.
* Generate design deliverables list and schedule for pursuits.
* Track development of design deliverables, ensuring quality and timeliness.
* Prioritize tasks and schedule work for on-site and off-site design teams.
* Conduct meetings, reviews, prepare documentation, and assist in contractual communication with owners and subcontractors.
* Participate in discipline task force teams, peer reviews, and evaluate construction methods, applying lessons learned.
* Coordinate RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings to conform with contract requirements and support the construction schedule.
* Facilitate coordination meetings to advance project progress.
* Monitor scope and assist in preparing change documents, analyzing interdisciplinary impacts.
* Assist in design and construction reviews to gain approval of design-related questions and packages.
* Facilitate design review meetings with owners, stakeholders, and operators.
* Provide field and construction guidance to CAD designers, drafters, and engineers to ensure design accuracy.
* Identify out-of-scope tasks and prepare change orders.
* Assist with estimates for change orders and requested changes.
* Monitor drafting progress and audit drawings for completeness and standards compliance.
* Maintain awareness of project schedule and budget.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
* 4-year degree in Engineering or related field.
* Experience in complex civil construction projects.
* Experience with alternative delivery projects and pursuits.
* Strong multitasking and communication skills.
* Experience in design or construction of large civil projects, managing on-site and off-site teams.
* Professional registration may be required.
