Job SummaryIG Masonry Support is a leading provider of innovative bespoke masonry support products, catering to the construction industries unique needs. We are committed to delivering high quality solutions and exceptional customer service.As a Technical Detailer You will play a crucial role in designing and delivering customised masonry support drawings to customer specifications, collaborating closely with clients, project and structural engineers. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, initially based in Swadlincote, with the option to work flexibly once you have completed your internal training and feel confident. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Effectively manage multiple live projects, demonstrating a proactive client focus, ensuring the achievement of delivery dates. Drawing Issuance: Produce and issue detailed drawings in accordance with agreed timescales. Project Documentation: Maintain project logs to ensure all reported figures are current, facilitating workload prioritisation. Operation and Maintenance Manuals: Collaborate with the Project Engineers to create manuals as requested by clients. Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to both internal and external customers, addressing enquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Site Visits: Conduct site visits to foster customer relationships, resolve technical issues and contribute to product design development. Product Presentations: Deliver product presentations as a training aid for clients and internal teams. Mentorship: Train and mentor junior or new to the business peers in producing accurate drawings for our products and impart your knowledge to help them become self-sufficient. Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD) and other relevant design tools. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build positive customer relationships. Problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges. Willingness to travel for site visits and customer interactions.
