Baret Scholars is a global program for students in the pivotal year between high school and university. Our scholars spend 7 months living, learning, and exploring across seven regions of the world—developing the perspective, independence, and curiosity that will shape the rest of their lives.
Baret Scholars is seeking a strategic, data-driven, and brand-sensitive Director of Digital Media to grow our global presence across digital platforms. As the person at the helm of our digital growth, you will be responsible for increasing visibility, engagement, and ultimately student applications through high-performing ad campaigns, SEO strategy, and intelligent content distribution. You will bring the opportunity of a life-changing gap year program to the wider world - to make students, families, and schools aware of what we do and how it can transform their higher education and career.
This is not a content creation role—we’re looking for someone who knows how to leverage content (from our students, team, and archives), optimize its impact, and place it where it matters most. The ideal candidate combines analytical precision with a sharp eye for brand, and thrives in a fast-moving, globally focused team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Grow and manage Baret’s presence across all digital platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google, and emerging platforms
* Build and execute digital ad campaigns (Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.) to generate high-quality applications from globally curious students
* Oversee and implement SEO strategy, including on-page optimization, keyword strategy, and performance tracking
* Collect, organize, and repurpose media assets (photos, videos, testimonials) from our students, Fellows, ambassadors, and regional partners
* Collaborate closely with the Head of Enrollment to ensure all content and campaigns align with Baret’s high-end, globally conscious brand identity
* Track and report engagement, reach, conversion, and platform performance
* Stay current on trends in digital media, education.
* Liaise with designers, creators, and external agencies when needed to bring campaigns to life
Who you are:
* 5+ years of experience in digital media, performance marketing, or brand growth—ideally in a premium, education, or mission-driven environment
* Deep understanding of SEO, paid media strategy, and platform analytics
* Skilled at interpreting data and using insights to refine strategy
* A respect for brand integrity—you understand how to build and protect a premium brand online
* Highly organized and self-directed, able to manage multiple campaigns at once
* Comfortable working remotely with a small, international, mission-driven team
* This is a remote position, so you can be located anywhere - not necessarily in the UK. The team you will be primarily working with is in Europe and Asia.
