You’d be part of an innovative team that provides technical IT support to staff across the Council. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to make a positive contribution to key areas of Service provision, and to enhance their skills. The successful candidate will support a range of hardware and software platforms, participating in technology projects based around applications like Microsoft 365.You will need excellent people skills and be able to communicate well with staff at all levels within the organisation. As a team player you will be able to innovative new ways of helping staff to deliver key services through better use of IT.Part of this role will be to assist with management our Microsoft 365 environments, for both our Education and Corporate tenancies. M365 has become our central IT platform over the past few years. The post will include a leading role in the management of existing M365 apps, and the configuration of additional modules as required. Responsibilities will include management of data retention policies, migration from on-premises file servers to OneDrive and SharePoint and advising on future strategy.You will also have a role in supporting the IT aspects of projects being run aspart of the implementation of Falkirk Council’s new Digital Strategy.As well as having experience working with suppliers, you will need to be highly motivated to drive forward positive change, enjoy working with others, and have a record of accomplishment of working effectively on projects and ICT support.
