Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Zero-hour Chef to join our team working at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, GU15 4PQ, and occasionally at Cadet Training Centre Frimley, GU16 7HD.
You will be responsible for managing food production and levels to ensure minimal wastage, supporting new team members in learning procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.

To be eligible for this role, you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years, have the legal right to work in the UK, and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

A day in the life of a Chef:
* Cooking and preparing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, ensuring minimal wastage and providing fine dining (silver service level) for functions and hospitality events.
* Collaborating with team members and coaching new staff on kitchen procedures and standards.
* Following recipe cards to prepare, cook, and serve various meals.
* Assisting with deliveries, stock checks, food orders, and maintaining kitchen records.
* Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries, and completing daily paperwork for due diligence.
* Participating in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans.
You will be set up for success if you have:
* NVQ Level 2 Culinary or equivalent Food Hygiene Certificate – Level 2.
* Previous experience in food production within catering or retail.
* Proficiency in spoken English.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Security checks and DBS clearance required.
* Flexibility and innovative thinking.
