Our client based in Woking is seeking a Early Years Assistant to join for adhoc days through April, with a view that further dates could be required later in the year. This role requires someone who has experience working with children aged 4-6 and a clear understanding of child development particularly in the Early Years. You must be available immedately and be happy to have a DBS check processed.
Duties:
* Planning and delivery of age-appropriate Early Years activities
* Ensuring safeguarding, welfare, and safety standards
* Establishing a calm, secure environment for young children
* Supporting children's emotional, social, and physical development
* Acting as the main point of contact for Early Years-related matters on site
Essential Requirements
* Experience working with children aged 4-6
* A calm, patient, and highly professional manner
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
* A clear understanding of safeguarding and child development in the Early Years
