Location: Tadworth Grove Care Home – The Avenue, Tadworth, Surrey, KT20 5AT

Salary: £15.09 – £16.00 per hour (based on experience) + £2000 annual bonus*
Contract: Permanent (40 hours/week, alternate weekends); Shift: 7am – 6pm
Welcome bonus: £1000**
Responsibilities
* Using passion for cooking and experience in a fresh food kitchen to create a varied and nutritious menu for residents.
* Using natural leadership skills to train and mentor the kitchen team to deliver an excellent dining experience.
* Being innovative and maintaining high standards in cooking.
* Managing all mandatory paperwork: COSHH, HACCP, company policies, budgets, orders and deliveries.
* Catering for special events or seasonal activities, such as summer fetes, Christmas parties and birthdays (as required).
Key Skills / Qualifications
A passion for cooking with previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen and relevant hygiene certificates. A natural leader, open to new ideas, with an innovative approach and high standards. Enjoyment of mentoring, supporting others, and cherishing moments with residents.

Additional Compensation
* Your welcome bonus will be paid upon completion of four weeks’ service, subject to tax and NI deductions.
