Behaviour Mentor – Primary Schools
Location: Blackburn & Darwen
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: £90–£110 per day
About the Role:
Do you have experience supporting children with social, emotional, and behavioural needs? We’re looking for a Behaviour Mentor to work in primary schools across Blackburn and Darwen. You’ll provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils who need help managing emotions and behaviour, helping them stay engaged in learning and develop positive coping strategies.
What You’ll Do:
* Support pupils with SEMH needs in a nurturing environment
* Implement positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to create tailored plans
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in behaviour management, youth work, or SEN support
* Calm, resilient, and proactive approach
* Ability to build strong relationships and motivate pupils
