Overview
Relief Support Worker role at Creative Support in Chorley, Lancashire. Salary £12.30 per hour plus accrued holiday credit. This is a relief/bank position supporting a man at a new Chorley ABI Service transitioning from a hospital setting. The service will enable him to lead a fulfilling and valued life, participate in his local community, and develop independent living skills.
We are looking for individuals who may share interests such as keeping fit, video games, listening to music, puzzles, bowling, cinema, football, snooker and socialising. Due to the service development, all staff recruited will initially work dynamically between Chorley and his current placement to ensure smooth service development and transitions.
Responsibilities
* Provide person-centered support to enable independent living and community participation.
* Assist with daily living tasks and personal care as required.
* Support transitions between placements and the development of the service.
* Work flexibly between Chorley and the current placement to ensure smooth transitions.
Qualifications
* Minimum of twelve months experience in a support role.
* Demonstrate a can-do approach, person-centred values, and reliability.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK.
