Calling all Buyers / Purchasing Administrators in the Warrington are, currently looking for a great new challenge!

If you have previous experience in a purchasing or supply chain role and are used to raising Purchase Orders, expediting deliveries and negotiating pricing/terms with suppliers, we would love to hear from you.
What will the role involve?
1. Purchasing consumables, MRO items and component parts for a number of manufacturing/engineering sites
2. Sourcing suitable suppliers and negotiating prices
3. Converting purchase requisitions and raising purchase orders on the system
4. Expediting deliveries with suppliers to ensure orders are delivered on time and in full
Working Hours
5. Mon to Fri, 08:00 - 17:00, working from the office full time
Remuneration and Benefits
6. Salary up to £29,000 depending on experience
7. 28 days' holiday PLUS bank holidays
8. Very competitive pension (6% Employer Contribution from day 1 of employment)

Ideal skills and experience
10. Previous experience in a purchasing or supply chain role
11. Exposure to purchasing within a manufacturing / engineering
12. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment
13. Good systems skills and attention to detail
14. Confidence to negotiate with suppliers, to improve price and lead times
