The Senior Insight Analyst will be responsible for driving the analysis & insight that supports Certas Energy’s understanding of customer interaction between all channels and the impact on marketing and customer acquisition/retention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis & Interpretation
Analysis of large and complex datasets
Present findings and recommendations in a clear, effective manner
Analyse trends, patterns & insights through data analysis
2. Business Insight Development
Collaborating with various stakeholders and understanding their requirements
Translate business requirements into analytical solutions
Identify opportunities with target audience to drive brand build & lead generation marketing strategies
3. Strategic Recommendations
Providing insights to support data driven decision making
Identify opportunities for business improvement
4. Project Management
Ensure timely delivery of insights and reports
Play a key part on analytical projects
5. Technical Expertise
Keeping up to date with the latest tech & data trends
Understanding of governance & compliance around data
Be an advocate for insight and data led recommendations, finding solutions & possibilities around blockers
Mentor and guide junior analysts
6. Marketing Campaigns
Responsible for the marketing campaign process including data provision, analysis & evaluation
Play a key role in the strategic direction for customer growth through retention & acquisition
Utilisation of data analysis to support strategic decision making & optimise campaign reach
7. Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with marketing stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives
Communicate marketing analysis, insight & recommendations to stakeholders across the business and external partners
What we’d like to see from someone:
Highly proficient with SQL
Understanding of statistical analysis
Aptitude to understand complex/large data sets
Ability to present compelling insights & data trends
Understanding the ‘why’ deeply & opportunities / risk to be aware of
Confident in talking through insights with senior stakeholders
Has the ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
Storytelling through data visualisation as a key competency
A customer-centric attitude focused on enabling effective marketing strategies & tools for better customer interactions
Experienced in supporting more junior team members
Highly numerate & commercially aware.
Strong analytical skills & experience of working with large volumes of data.
