Initial contract to end of March 26, max rate - £475pd inside IR35, Hybrid - 2 days per week in Coventry
We’re looking for an experienced Interaction Designer to join a Central Government department on a contract basis, working on user-centred digital services in line with GDS standards.
You’ll design intuitive, accessible interactions, collaborate closely with product managers, researchers and developers, and help shape services from discovery through to delivery.
Responsibilities
* Design clear, user-centred interactions for complex digital services
* Produce and iterate user flows, wireframes and prototypes
* Work collaboratively with product managers, developers and researchers
* Apply GDS Service Standards and design system principles
* Ensure designs meet accessibility and usability standards
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Interaction Designer on Central Government projects
* Experience working to GDS Service Standards
* Strong understanding of user-centred design and agile delivery
* Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
* Ability to evidence design decisions using research and data
