Information Governance – Matter Mobility Senior Analyst – Manchester (hybrid)
As a Information Governance Matter Mobility Senior Analyst, you will have experience within Information Governance, Data Governance or Records and Information Management, and be keen to develop your Information Management career in a corporate law firm environment.
You will be coordinating the workflow of a team that provides assistance to staff and attorneys across the firm with file transfers in and out of the firm, while providing support to practice office Information Governance operations departments and coordinating all major functions of the Matter Mobility team.
Key Job Responsibilities will include:
Developing plans, organizing files and workflow, and assuming responsibility for the completion of major projects
Ensuring compliance with policies and completion of the matter mobility process, as well as responding to questions and providing guidance and training as needed
Exercising judgment in ensuring that firm policies and procedures are followed and understanding how ethical and legal obligations impact the storage, organization, and transfer of data in a global environment
Advising attorneys, legal professionals, and staff about information management best practices, data privacy and security issues, and other risk management issues
Communicating effectively with the Lateral Partner Onboarding team and other teams outside of IG that play a role in the matter mobility process
If you have the following, we would love to hear from you:
Possess extensive knowledge of information governance, records management or information management processes
Display excellent communication skills
Experience in a relevant records, Information Governance or information management position.
Experience in other law firm positions having significant document organizational responsibilities may be considered in lieu of directly related Information Governance or Records experience
You should be keen to develop your career in Records Management and Information Governance in a corporate, professional services environment.
You will be Manchester based with hybrid working.
