Project Manager - Manufacturing

Salary: Up to £60,000
An excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join a global industry-leading manufacturing company. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will lead process improvement projects across the site.

The Role:
* Design new systems, equipment, and processes for the introduction of new products or the improvement of existing ones.
* Work closely with multiple departments and help deliver CI projects on time and within budget.
* Analyze and report on production processes, methods, schedules, downtime, cycle times, machine availability, and waste management.
* Support the transition of new tools to production by designing and implementing jigs, tooling, frameworks, etc.
* Liaise with toolmakers regarding new tools and improvements to tooling.
* Review and calculate the costs of different tools and equipment, predicting overheads for future production requirements.
* Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
* Evaluate quality control processes and recommend improvements.
The Person:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing engineering or projects role.
* Experience using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
* Knowledge of NPI processes.
