The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will lead the strategic growth of fabrication and site installation services, focusing on securing new customers and expanding existing accounts. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing business growth strategies, supporting tender and bid activities, and maintaining key client relationships. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure seamless project handovers and optimise commercial opportunities. Daily actions will involve identifying new market opportunities, developing proposals, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to meet sales and revenue targets.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Proven success in business development or sales within fabrication, engineering, construction, or industrial services
Extensive knowledge of fabrication services including pipework, structural steel, welding, or E&I works
An expert understanding of managing full sales cycles, from initial opportunity to contract finalisation
Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills supporting pricing and tendering
Excellent communication and influencing skills across technical and senior management levels
Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple opportunities across a broad geographical area
Willingness to travel regularly and adapt to dynamic operational needs
