Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate athletes of all ages and skill levels. As a Coach, you will be responsible for developing training programmes, enhancing skills, and fostering a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
* Conduct regular practice sessions focusing on skill development, teamwork, and strategy.
* Provide constructive feedback and guidance to athletes to improve performance.
* Monitor athletes' progress and adjust training methods as necessary.
* Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages participation and sportsmanship.
* Organise and lead competitive events, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
* Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress and expectations.
Qualifications
* UEFA C License (essential) UEFA B (preferred)
* Proven experience in sports coaching, with a strong understanding of the sport being coached.
* Teaching experience is highly desirable, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong leadership abilities with a focus on motivating and inspiring others.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for training sessions and events.
