You will play a key role supporting hyperscale data centres, delivering high-quality technical expertise across commissioning, testing and system configuration.No prior UPS experience is required- this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your expertise with full training provided.What you’ll do:Commission large-scale UPS systems across customer sitesDemonstrate strong understanding of on-line and line-interactive UPS systemsDevelop and execute commissioning scriptsConduct Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)Use and interpret power quality metersPerform thermographic inspections and reportingWork with battery systems, including VRLA and Lithium-ion technologiesSet up and configure remote monitoring softwareCommunicate effectively with customers and stakeholders at a technical levelApply anti-static policies and proceduresEnsure all repairs follow Engineering Change Notice (ECN) processesQualifications:HNC (or higher) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalentStrong knowledge of three-phase electrical installations or maintenanceExperience with UPS systems would be a plus but a full training will be providedSkills:Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and stakeholdersStrong problem-solving mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approachAbility to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based roleWhat we offer:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including generous overtime allowanceCompany vehicleFlexible, UK-wide working modelOpportunities to work on cutting-edge hyperscale data centre projectsOngoing training and professional developmentClear career progression within a global organisationComprehensive health, wellbeing and pension schemes#LI-MM2All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
