Typical graduate pathway
1. Months 0-6 - learn the software, price real enquiries, shadow design & site reviews.
2. Months 6-18 - own small/medium projects; sit design-hand-over meetings; attend client calls.
3. Months 18-36 - choose your next step: Senior Design Engineer / International Progression
Day-to-day you will
* Convert architect's drawings into accurate cost schedules (training provided).
* Liaise with contractors, merchants and production to lock in budgets and delivery dates.
* Work with in-house structural engineers on basic calcs and value-engineering ideas.
* Compile hand-over packs so project teams hit the ground running.
* Analyse win/loss data to sharpen future bids.
We're looking for
* Degree or HND in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architectural Technology, Construction Mgmt or similar
* Confident interpreting drawings; solid knowledge of construction process & standards.
* Curiosity about how buildings go together and a head for numbers.
* Confident communicator keen to build client relationships.
