Job Responsibilities
1. Assist in documenting current state processes and capturing data lineage.
2. Translate data requirements into actionable plans and help identify inconsistencies.
3. Apply data governance and data quality controls under guidance.
4. Support project delivery within cross-functional and matrix reporting structures.
5. Contribute to data warehouse process models, including sourcing, loading, transformation, and extraction.
6. Utilize industry-standard data warehousing tools for ingestion, streaming, storage, and visualization.
7. Help integrate data warehousing solutions within cloud platforms such as AWS Glue and AWS Lambda.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on innovative analytics projects.
9. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
10. Prioritize tasks and support multiple projects simultaneously.
11. Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
12. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, or equivalent education and/or professional experience.
13. 1–3 years of experience in business systems analysis or in designing and developing business applications.
14. Hands-on experience with SQL and Python (or another programming language) in a professional setting.
15. Understanding of banking operations, ideally with exposure to payment processing.
16. Knowledge of database design and relational database concepts; experience with large-scale data warehouses is advantageous.
17. Ability to document current state processes and capture data lineage.
18. Familiarity with data governance and data quality management principles.
19. Delivery skills, including supporting projects within a matrix organization.
20. Practical knowledge of data warehouse process models, such as data sourcing, loading, transformation, and extraction, with experience using industry-standard data warehousing tools.
21. Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing technologies (., AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Mesh).
22. Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
23. Experience supporting strategic front-to-back programs.
24. Understanding of core metadata and data quality principles, data transfer, and profiling technologies.
25. Exposure to lean and agile software development lifecycle behaviors.
26. Broad financial services experience and an understanding of current banking industry challenges.
