Responsibilities
As a Vehicle Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting compliance tests and MOT tests on the authority’s fleet of taxi vehicles
Performing general servicing and repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety standards
Maintaining accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and MOTs
Ensuring all work complies with DVSA regulations and internal quality standards
Supporting the team with vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting as required
Working efficiently to complete tasks within allocated timeframesCandidate Requirements
To be successful in this Vehicle Technician role, you will need:
Proven experience in vehicle repairs and MOT testing
DVSA Certified (Class 4 & 7)
Full UK driving licence
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
