Are you a caring, reliable driver looking for a fulfilling live-in care position in a supportive home environment? The client is a male with an incomplete C5/C6/C7 tetraplegia who lives at home with his wife and their cat. He is seeking a live-in female support worker to provide day-to-day assistance and support within the home. The role involves helping him maintain independence, manage personal care and daily activities, and support his overall wellbeing in a familiar and comfortable living environment.
What you’ll be doing:
* Assistance with all aspects of personal care (including hoisting, washing, dressing, grooming)
* Support with mobility and safe transfers
* Support with bowel and bladder care routines (as trained/required)
* Assistance with meal preparation and hydration
* Housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe living environment
* Supporting social activities, appointments, and community access
* Overnight presence and assistance as required in a live-in capacity
When you’ll be working:
* Rolling rota - 2 weeks on 2 weeks off.
While this role is offered on a zero-hours contract, shifts are typically stable and consistent, giving you reliable working patterns within a dedicated care package.
What to look forward to:
* £127.50 per day on a zero hour contract.
