We re seeking dedicated full-time Support Workers to join our team, working 37.5 hours per week to cover 24/7 support, including sleep-ins (paid at 65 per night). Whether you ve done this kind of work before or are completely new to care, what matters most is your attitude, your values, and your willingness to support people to live life on their terms. Full training will be provided. What you ll be doing: Supporting people with their morning routines, including personal care and preparing for the day Helping individuals attend appointments, go shopping, or enjoy a coffee at local caf s Supporting with medication and health needs (full training provided) Encouraging and joining in with hobbies and interests whether that s crafts, gardening, or a good YouTube video Being a friendly, reliable presence and offering emotional support Ensuring people feel safe, heard, and respected every day Meet *Josephine: Josephine is full of character and enjoys the slower things in life. She loves crafts, gardening, people-watching from a sunny bench, and visiting local coffee shops. She s a big fan of YouTube and has a great sense of humour. Due to some mobility challenges, Josephine prefers a gentler pace when out and about someone patient and calm would be the perfect match. Josephine has mobility car, so a UK manual driving licence is a must. We are looking for people who share our values, who are warm, friendly and willing to learn, and also who celebrate people s differences. We will train you on all the formal key skills you will need in terms of Emergency first aid, safeguarding and giving medication. We hold a number of training courses that you will be expected to attend whilst you are working with MacIntyre, but don t worry, you will be given plenty of notice. You must however have a resilient, patient and compassionate attitude as there may be times where you will need to help Sarah control and regulate her emotions and anxiety in line with her Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plan. Training and Development At Macintyre we fully support your training and development.
