Night Care Assistant at Guiseley Manor Care Centre - Full time, Permanent
Join our team at Guiseley Manor Care Centre, a purpose-built 72-bed facility in west Yorkshire, Leeds. We provide residential, nursing, and dementia care, emphasizing safety, comfort, and quality. We invest in the latest technology and offer engaging activities to enhance residents' wellbeing. Our staff are carefully selected, trained, and paid above the national living wage.
We are seeking caring and compassionate Care Assistants to deliver quality care in line with care plans, contributing to the efficient running of the home. Full-time contracts are available at £11.44 per hour, with shifts from 19:45 to 08:00, including alternate weekends.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Deliver person-centered care to residents.
2. Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life.
3. Model best practice in care delivery.
4. Assist residents with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs as per care plans.
5. Maintain daily records of residents.
6. Work effectively as part of a team and undertake delegated tasks.
7. Promote and safeguard the welfare of residents and others you interact with.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred.
2. Care certificate or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
3. Knowledge of good care practices for older adults.
4. Understanding of the 6 principles of care in residential/nursing settings.
5. Ability to work in a team, self-motivated, and confident.
