About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a virtual Weight Management Service for a dynamic and inspirational Project Leader. You will be bold and proactive, developing a new team which will share the vison and aspirations of the service and your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the daily operational and business management of the department
* Ensure the required capacity for services and that key performance targets are met
* Contract performance, reporting and budget management
* Support the development and implementation of plans for service improvement
* To deputise for the Project Manager as appropriate
* Provide operational leadership and management with overall responsibility and
* accountability for delivering project outputs and outcomes of the weight management service
* Lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that delivery outcomes are achieved
* Ensure services are delivered and developed to provide high quality, safe and effective
* packages of support that respond to the needs of the client
* Play a key part in integrating the service into the wider behaviour change programme across the area
* Work with the Project Manager to ensure robust systems are in place in order to monitor and control expenditure across the service
* Support the development of business plans and attend training as required
About you
To be successful for the role of Project Leader, you must be / have:
* Experience of working in a health and social care environment
* Experience of delivering/managing community development/asset based programmes
* Previous project and operational management experience
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
* A positive and proactive leader with the ability to motivate, engage and support delivery teams to achieve the highest standards and outcomes
* Strategic thinker and take action to deal with problems and opportunities
* Build strong relationships
* Be open and motivated by new ideas and perspective
* Have access to a car with a clean drivers licence
About the rewards
For the role of Project Leader there is an excellent salary on offer of £30,000 per annum dependent on experience.
