We are a growing civil and structural engineering consultancy working on a diverse range of projects including residential, commercial, and refurbishment schemes. With a small but highly skilled team, we pride ourselves on delivering practical, buildable, and creative engineering solutions with a personal touch.
We are now looking for a mid-level Structural Technician to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects, develop your skills further, and play a key part in our continued growth.
What you'll be doing:
* Preparing detailed structural drawings and models (2D and 3D) using AutoCAD and Revit (experience in both preferred, training can be provided).
* Supporting engineers with the production of calculations, drawings, and reports.
* Liaising with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Assisting in site visits, surveys, and inspections when required.
* Helping to maintain company drawing standards and contribute to efficient project workflows.
What we're looking for:
* Minimum 2–5 years' experience in a structural technician role.
* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience desirable.
* Good understanding of construction methods, building regulations, and detailing in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a small, collaborative team.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with guidance from senior staff.
