Field Service Engineer: Waste Compactors and Bailers
Home-based: Ideally based in Yorkshire.
Salary: GBP32,500 – GBP40,000 basic, OTE GBP55,000+ with travel pay, overtime and on-call.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the face of this international company, providing essential service to their wide-ranging client base. Your responsibilities include:
* Executing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on hydraulic balers, compactors, and associated waste equipment.
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
* Conducting electrical and PLC diagnostics and fault finding (training provided).
* Performing essential welding and fabrication during repairs (a significant advantage).

What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Service/Maintenance Engineer working with heavy industrial machinery, preferably compactors, balers or similar plant equipment.
* Strong background in hydraulics and mechanical engineering (essential).
* Welding/fabrication skills highly desirable.
* Valid UK driving licence.
