A NEW AND EXCITING ROLE WITH CAREER GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES
One of our fastest-growing areas is sales coaching—helping Legal and Professional Services firms supercharge their business development skills while staying true to their expertise. Demand is growing because our approach is so different from what clients have experienced in the past. We need to grow our team, and we’re looking for a seasoned Business Development professional who can coach lawyers with their Business Development as well as take on the role of account management for some of our key clients. This is an incredible time to join us on this exciting journey.
You’ll work closely with our core team, reporting to Michelle Elstein, a visionary leader with thirty years of Professional Services experience. She will coach, guide, and empower you to grow and make a real impact, feeling great about the difference you make to our clients as well as our business.

This role offers a balance of virtual working from your home environment, supporting workshops at client offices, and in-person collaboration days at our headquarters in North West London.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
This isn’t just another job. It’s an opportunity to shape the way talented lawyers, accountants, and other professionals approach their business development. Even more excitingly, it is an opportunity to shape how we scale and grow our business. The role splits as follows:
* 80% Client Impact, Delivery, and Account Management – You’ll design and deliver coaching programmes that empower lawyers and other professionals to confidently grow their client base. You’ll guide them in refining their sales approach, all while maintaining their integrity and expertise. Part of this includes being the key client lead for our major clients.
* 20% Courageous Business Growth – You’ll help drive our own expansion, working alongside our founders in meeting with prospective clients, supporting sales efforts, and building our presence in the market.
Aspects of the role include:
* Collaborate with law firm leaders, including partners as well as BD and L&D leaders, to align our programmes with their business growth goals.
* Deliver engaging, high-energy coaching sessions and workshops—both one-on-one and in groups.
* Help legal and other professionals develop powerful BD skills, refine their pitches, and boost client engagement.
* Attend sales meetings and play a key role in winning new business for Courageous Co.
* Build your personal brand as a thought leader in the industry.
* Track and measure coaching effectiveness, ensuring real impact.
* Support the growth of Courageous Co. by developing new offerings, identifying opportunities, and refining our existing services.
* Continuously enhancing, challenging, and expanding your skill set to adapt to unique client needs and diverse challenges, ensuring every situation is approached with fresh, tailored solutions.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
·A proven business development expert—ideally with coaching experience in the Legal or Professional Services markets.
·Someone who understands the BD challenges lawyers face and knows how to help them overcome them.
·A powerful communicator who can inspire and motivate professionals at all levels.
·Skilled in designing and delivering programmes that drive real behaviour change.
·A natural relationship-builder who earns trust quickly.
·Analytical and strategic—able to assess performance and offer actionable insights.
·Coaching certifications or sales training qualifications are a plus, but not essential.
