We're looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Design team based in Liverpool. The team designs a wide range of building types and site redevelopments across various construction sectors such as education, retail, blue light, conservation, and commercial for both public and private clients.

Responsibilities
* Support the Civil and Structural Engineering team by producing and reviewing structural design calculations, drawings, models, reports, specifications, and schedules.
* Coordinate structural engineering design information within the team and with other disciplines such as architecture, landscape architecture, and building services engineering.
* Develop and implement structural concept design strategies, monitoring progress against sustainability and low carbon targets.
* Visit sites, conduct surveys and inspections, and represent the team at project meetings with clients and other professionals.
* Mentor junior engineers and technicians, supporting ongoing professional development.
* Assist in obtaining necessary consents via Building Control and Building Safety Act processes and support project consultations with authorities.
Requirements
* Professional qualifications such as BSc, MSc, BEng, or MEng in Structural or Civil Engineering, or Chartered Engineer status (CEng, Member or Associate Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers or Civil Engineers).
* Relevant experience with structural steelwork and reinforced concrete design according to British/European standards, applying CDM regulations, and UK construction techniques.
* Experience working within multidisciplinary teams, attending meetings with clients, project managers, architects, and other professionals.
* Full driving license to visit sites and offices.
