Location Thornbury, Bristol
As Trade Marketing Intern, you will support the Trade Marketing Manager – Independent Wholesale Channel UKI to execute the Independent Channel strategy and implement marketing activities across EssilorLuxottica brands.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:
The successful candidate will have the following accountability. Examples of areas in which you will assist include, but are not limited to:
1. Support with Customer Loyalty Programmes.
2. Print buying and co-ordinating point of sale material for promotions, including forecasting and allocating point of sale to drive in store visibility.
3. Assisting with the administration required for setting up /running customer promotions including setting up marketing campaigns on CRM platforms.
4. Assisting & coordinating independent customers with images for digital and in-store use.
5. Assisting with customer trade events and internal events.
6. Supporting with queries from customers and internal team members.
7. Helping to set up trade marketing packages for customers when required.
8. You will support the team with the day-to-day running and allocation of Digital In-Store tools.
9. Undertaking admin tasks for the marketing team as required.
10. Assist with updating and maintaining the EssilorLuxottica showroom.
11. Assist with budget management by processing PORs, quotes and invoices.
TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE
(To apply for and be successful in this role, the candidate must:
12. Be educated to degree-level;
13. Be proficient in Microsoft packages;
14. Have demonstrable organisational and time management skills;
15. Have good spoken and written English;
16. Have experience in marketing; and / or have a demonstrable interest in marketing.
LANGUAGES:
English is mandatory. Italian and French are not required but advantageous.
