The Role
We are seeking a Sponsorship Sales Manager to join our team. This is a sole contributor role and will focus on new business development - securing high-value sponsorship partnerships across our global portfolio of both live events and digital products. You will sell to global technology vendors operating in the financial crime space. This is a remote-first role, with team collaboration at events and occasional meet-ups in London and Brighton.
Key Responsibilities
· Sell sponsorship packages across our UK, EMEA, and US events and digital products
· Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities across the financial crime tech sector
· Conduct high-quality outreach via phone, video, LinkedIn, and email to engage senior-level decision-makers (CMOs, CROs, Heads of Sales, Product, and Marketing)
· Tailor sponsorship solutions to meet client objectives – relationship building, understanding our clients' needs and challenges is at the heart of what we do
· Attend live events in the UK, Europe, and US to manage sponsor relationships, support on-site delivery and client experience.
· Collaborate with production, marketing, and content teams to deliver exceptional results for our clients
· Report weekly pipeline, forecast revenue, and contribute to growth targets
About You
· –4+ years' experience in B2B sponsorship/event sales, ideally selling into financial technology vendors or working for a vendor in a sales/BD role, selling to FIs
· A proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and securing high-value deals
· Strong understanding of the financial sector, knowledge in financial crime: AML, fraud, cyber, risk / compliance or payments advantageous
· Consultative sales style with a growth mindset and hunger to win new business
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Comfortable working independently and as part of a small, agile team
· Willing to travel internationally for events (approx. 6-8 times per year)
