They are now seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join their team on a major life sciences project in Cambridge.
The Project:
This exciting project involves the construction of a state-of-the-art life sciences facility, with an M&E value of £18,000,000. As Electrical Site Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient, safe, and timely delivery of the electrical installations on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the electrical aspects of the project, managing the day-to-day site activities.
* Ensure the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems are carried out to the highest standards.
* Work closely with the Project Manager, site team, and subcontractors to ensure smooth coordination of all site operations.
* Monitor progress against the project schedule and address any issues or delays promptly.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards on site.
* Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports and site inspections.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in an Electrical Site Manager role, ideally on large-scale, complex projects.
* Strong knowledge of M&E systems, with experience managing electrical installations in the construction sector.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities on-site.
* A good understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
* Previous experience working on life sciences, commercial, or similar projects would be an advantage.
