The Role:
As a Technical Assistant, you'll play a key part in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and food safety. You'll support both production and technical teams, carry out quality checks, manage training requirements, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Maintaining quality standards and managing product shelf life assessments
2. Carrying out quality checks on raw materials and finished products
3. Supporting NPD trials and production process controls
4. Investigating customer complaints and non-conformances
5. Managing site training matrix and delivering training updates
6. Conducting internal audits and preparing for customer/site audits
7. Generating monthly technical reports and maintaining compliance documentation
About You:
We're looking for someone who is:
8. Educated to degree level (Food Science/related discipline)
9. Experienced in an FMCG manufacturing environment
10. Knowledgeable in BRC / FSSC22000 standards and Quality Management Systems
11. Confident in internal auditing and customer audit processes
12. IT-literate with strong Microsoft Office skills
13. Organised, detail-driven, and able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
