Pensions Actuarial Consulting Graduate Programme - September 2025 (Winchester)

LCP is an award-winning actuarial and analytics consultancy providing advice on pensions, insurance, investments, energy, employee benefits, and health. We fuse human expertise with powerful analytics to shape a more positive future for our clients and people.

The Opportunity: Dive into the world of LCP, where your journey in actuarial consulting isn't just about crunching numbers, instead striking an exciting balance between technical work and consulting. You will be using data and complex models to explore vast financial landscapes, advising industry giants, and making a tangible difference to the lives of millions of pension scheme members.

Your Role: This is a consulting-based role in our Winchester office, which will involve a broad mixture of client and non-client work. Upon joining LCP, you will join several client teams of varying sizes, each made up of people from analyst to partner level, working on a diverse range of projects and clients. The type of work you can expect to be involved in as an analyst in the role includes:

* Analysing data and performing calculations both at individual and scheme level, including triennial actuarial valuations
* Using LCP in-house software to model pension scheme cashflows and produce analysis for client reports
* Drafting advice, letters, and reports for clients
* Attending internal and client meetings
* Helping clients ensure good pension scheme governance and risk management
* Communicating with clients and their other advisors as part of wide-ranging projects
* Work relating to pension risk transfer and post-transaction projects
* Preparing figures and analysing the impact of pension schemes on balance sheets of UK and International companies

Professional Development: We encourage continuous learning through professional qualifications and personal development training. Over your first three years, we provide a tailored graduate training programme to build on your technical abilities and soft skills. You'll also be working alongside leading professionals in the sector and learning from their experiences.

What We’re Looking For:

* A Level Maths A Grade (taking into account any contextualisation of grades)
* Degree educated (minimum 2:1) or currently studying for a degree and on track to achieve a 2:1, in any subject
* Problem solving, numeracy, and analytical skills

What’s in it for you?

As well as joining a multi-award winning, fun, collaborative, people-first organisation where your personal and professional skills will be developed, we offer an attractive benefits package designed to promote your overall wellbeing. Currently, our core benefits package includes:

* Study support for professional qualifications
* 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with flexible options
* Private medical insurance, life assurance, income protection, and digital GP services
* High street discounts and discounted gym memberships
* Access to Wellbeing, LGBTQ+, Multicultural, and Women’s networks
