Job Description
This is a permanent, full-time technical role based in London, hybrid work arrangement. The position involves leading quality engineering initiatives at NewDay, focusing on testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and team leadership.

You will help transform the QA team into a Quality Engineering function, collaborating with product and engineering teams to improve testing practices and accelerate product quality delivery.

0-12 months youll deliver
* Lead the Quality Engineering organization, improving testing efficiency, cost, and quality.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements.
* Design and evaluate test automation architectures and tools.
* Lead test strategy, automation framework development, and code reviews.
* Establish root cause analysis mechanisms and communicate findings.
* Research and implement advanced automation features like self-healing and script-less automation.
* Develop automation skills within the team to foster growth.
What youll bring
We seek candidates with:
* Extensive experience in software QA and test program development.
* Proven experience with automated testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber/Gherkin.
* Proficiency in REST/RESTful web services, GitHub, Jenkins, Postman, and other tools.
* Knowledge of programming languages like Java, C#, Python, or C++.
* Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
