Site-Based Maintenance Engineer - Warwickshire - Permanent Role
I'm currently recruiting for a well-established engineering client in Warwickshire who is looking to strengthen their on-site team with the addition of a Maintenance Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience maintaining industrial machinery to join a stable and supportive working environment.
The Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be based on-site and responsible for the upkeep, repair, and improvement of a range of mechanical and electrical machinery. You'll work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure equipment is running efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment
* Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and implementing effective solutions
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company standards
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good understanding of health and safety practices
Desirable:
* Recognised engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC)
* Experience with motors, pumps, conveyors, or similar equipment
