Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Supervising Social Worker to join their fostering team, supporting foster families in and around Swindon. You will play a key role in providing high‑quality support to foster parents, ensuring children and young people receive exceptional care and the best possible opportunities. What We Are Looking For
* Take a reflective and creative approach when supporting foster carers and young people
* Manage a caseload of around 13 fostering families, offering professional guidance and skill development
* Provide wrap‑around support, including participation in an out‑of‑hours on‑call rota
* Be committed to contributing to the growth and development of the fostering service
* Hold a relevant professional Social Work qualification
* Be registered with Social Work England (SWE)
* Have experience in fostering‑related social work and/or childrens social care
* Be confident in identifying the needs of young people
* Have sound knowledge of fostering regulations, childcare law and safeguarding
* Be able to make objective, professional assessments
* Have a valid driving licence and access to a car
