This role is due to commence February 2026. Salary: £64,691 - £71,330 + excellent benefits.
Our Deputy Head Teachers are fulfilled by the idea of making even the smallest positive changes in our young people. You will work with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Alongside the Head Teacher, you will set the vision for the future of the school, ensuring we have the right people and plans in place to see that our young people leave feeling proud of what they’ve achieved. Responsibilities
As a Deputy Head Teacher, you will:
* Support the Head Teacher to shape and implement the school’s vision and strategy.
* Lead and develop staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning for children and young people with ASD/SEMH needs.
* Contribute to the creation of an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment where every pupil can thrive.
* Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure effective governance, safeguarding, and school improvement planning.

You will need:
* Previous teaching experience and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A minimum of 2 years leadership and management experience.
* A drive to raise the quality of teaching and learning.
* An understanding of good behaviours for learning.
* Effective leadership and coaching skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills to develop a capable staff team.
