We are seeking a full-time B1.1 Base Maintenance & Modifications Certifying Engineer to join our Capability Development Team in Humberside.
Role Details
This permanent position involves supervising non-licensed personnel conducting Base Maintenance, including Major & Minor Modifications on Beech King Air Series and other aircraft types.
Responsibilities
* Supervise non-licensed personnel
* Certify fabricated parts and modifications on aircraft
* Assist with structural repairs
* Conduct hidden damage inspections
* Remove or install aircraft components
* Support mechanical and electrical work
* Maintain safety and environmental policies
* Document work per manuals and regulations
* Ensure timely and safe completion of tasks
Candidate Requirements
Unrestricted UK CAA B1.1 License with Beech 300 and/or type ratings or similar. Experience with modifications, sheet metal, and structural repairs is desirable. Relevant training or apprenticeship is preferred. Good communication skills, basic tools, and flexibility to travel are essential.
Preferred experience includes recent work with Beech 300/200, structural repairs, and interpreting engineering drawings. Additional desirable qualifications include C Certification Rating, Human Factors, EWIS, and FTS training.
