Dental Therapist – Chapel Dental, High Wycombe

Chapel Dental is a thriving, independent private practice in the High Wycombe, led by Dr Rachel Derby and Dr Neil Evans. We are known for delivering high-quality care, exceptional patient experience, and a forward-thinking approach to dentistry.
We are now looking for a motivated Dental Therapist to join our team from January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a therapist who wants to practise at the full scope of GDC standards, build confidence in direct access, and grow clinically and professionally within a supportive environment.
The Role
• Two days per week (one fixed as Wednesday, plus one flexible day).
• Working to the full scope of practice under GDC standards, including direct access and treatment referrals from dentists, Dr Derby is currently undergoing a Diploma in periodontics and is keen to implement protocols within the practice.
• Undertaking patient examinations, composite restorations and a wide range of preventive and restorative care.
• Proactively promoting and delivering elective treatments such as tooth whitening and ICON resin infiltration.
• Playing a key role in growing the therapy service within the practice.

This role is best suited to a therapist who is:
• Confident, ambitious, and eager to use the full breadth of their training.
• Keen to grow professionally, with a genuine interest in elective and minimally invasive treatments.
• Committed to providing excellent patient care and communication.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work collaboratively with a supportive clinical team.
Remuneration
This is a self-employed associate position with a generous sliding-scale remuneration model:
• 35% of gross fees up to £1,200 per day
• 40% of gross fees £1,201 – £1,600 per day
• 45% of gross fees £1,601 – £2,000 per day
• 50% of gross fees above £2,000 per day
