Our client is offering a full-time hybrid role for a Civil Engineer located in Manchester. The right candidate will provide assistance with the production of solutions within the design function of the Civils' team. The role demands a proactive approach in a team environment and offers substantial opportunity for career progression within the company.\n\nThe role:\n\nProduction of designs for infrastructure and associated planning schemes to appropriate standards from initial concepts to detailed design.\n\t\nProduction of Masterplan concept drawings and general arrangements to relevant standards.\n\t\nAssistance in preparation of contract documents and specifications.\n\t\nUndertaking inspections and surveys, preparation of reports and site supervision of projects.\n\t\nTrain and guide junior staff in technical matters.\n\t\nManage small projects or elements of projects as appropriate.\n\t\nAwareness of commercial and technical management of projects to assist in ensuring that they are managed effectively within budgetary constraints.\n\t\nDeveloping design solutions best suited to benefit clients’ needs.\n\t\nContributing to the technical development of the design function of the team.\n\nWhat you need to succeed:\n\nBSc /BEng in Civil Engineering.\n\t\nthree to five years’ experience in the infrastructure design industry.\n\t\nExperience in preparing detailed design for infrastructure projects through the Section 278/38 agreement process.\n\t\nKnowledge of Section 104/106 water industry agreements.\n\t\nKnowledge of DCG and relevant drainage standards and guidance.\n\t\nAwareness of DMRB, Manual for Streets and general Highway standards.\n\t\nProficient in the use of MicroDrainage.\n\t\nAbility in Civil 3D software that can be developed.\n\t\nGood communicator (written and verbal).\n\t\nGood team player to contribute to dynamic group.\n\t\nCommercially aware
