* Provide a warm, professional reception service, welcoming visitors, managing enquiries, and ensuring safeguarding procedures.
* Handle all incoming communication – calls, emails, and post – with accuracy, promptness, and discretion.
* Maintain and update school systems and records (including admissions, iSAMS, DfE forms), ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
* Lead the organisation, administration, and delivery of internal and external examinations as the school’s Exams Officer.
* Provide high‑quality administrative and PA support to the Head Teacher and the wider school team.
* Manage office operations, including stationery orders, photocopier checks, deliveries, outgoing post, and maintaining a tidy reception area.
* Assist with booking and administration of off‑site visits and events.
* Set up and maintain confidential pupil files in line with Data Protection requirements.
* Warm, professional, and confident with a wide range of people.
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
* Comfortable using IT systems and learning new software.
* Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities.
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Driving licence required.
* Prepared to undertake mandatory off‑site training that may require travel.
