Role Overview
In essence, you’ll be working in a team that provides a one-stop shop for intermediaries with protection questions. Most queries will come in via inbound calls and the role is a great training ground for aspiring protection account managers.
Internally, this role is called Protection Telephone Account Manager.
What You’ll Do
* Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with a portfolio of advisers, providing regular support and promoting Omni Protect propositions.
* Sales & Promotion: Communicate the value and distinct benefits of Omni Protect’s protection proposition to advisers, driving increased business and ensuring sales targets are met.
* Client Engagement: Use telephony, social media, online presentations, and email marketing to engage advisers and maximize sales opportunities.
* Influence: Use strong communication skills to negotiate agreements and deliver best outcomes with advisers.
* Strategic Contributions: Actively contribute to Omni Protect’s protection sales targets and volume targets through strategic account management.
* Data Analysis: Use data to analyse account performance, identify growth opportunities, and make informed business decisions.
* Technology & Referral Enablement: Develop a strong understanding of Omni Protect’s technology solutions and referral pathways, and confidently engage with members to identify opportunities, generate leads, and promote the most suitable referral options.
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience in financial services sales, particularly in the protection sector.
* A commitment to professional exams, with a minimum requirement of R01 & R05 (or equivalent qualifications).
* Strong verbal and written communication, with excellent networking and collaboration skills.
* Demonstrable experience in a sales environment, particularly within financial services and the protection market.
* Adept at analysing and interpreting data to support decision-making and optimise business outcomes.
