Job Description
Keltbray Infrastructure are recruiting for a Learning and Development Business Partner to work from either the Ashford, Kent or Crewe office.
As a Learning and Development Business Partner (L&D BP) with a focus on third-party relationship management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning and development landscape within our organisation. You will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with suppliers, accrediting organisations, training providers, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of our L&D initiatives. Additionally, you will develop and lead on the development of employee induction programs, annual appraisals, and other employee lifecycle practices to support the growth and development of our workforce.
Primary Duties include
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish current and future learning objectives and new training requirements, carrying out training needs analysis activity, to include (but not limited to) assessment of technical and statutory competency and skill requirements.
* Support the Head of People Operations & OD to design, deliver and enhance new & existing L&D frameworks to ensure fit for purpose whilst contributing to the success of the overarching business strategy.
* Coordinate key training programs, scheduling training sessions, keeping delegates and training providers informed, analysing feedback surveys, and producing outputs back into the business for continuous improvement.
* Own and maintain the Corporate induction framework for all new employees, ensuring it remains informative, engaging and is delivered to the highest of standards.
* Maximise business placements and early careers opportunities utilising knowledge of apprenticeship programs, including the Apprentice Levy and CITB (Construction Industry Training Board), to maximise funding and support for employee development.
* Develop and coordinate digital content creation utilising the learning management system (LMS).
* Identify and manage funding and grants from various streams in support of training programs.
* Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers, industry organisations, and educational institutions to ensure access to relevant resources and opportunities.
* Partner with HR and the wider business to assess training effectiveness, measure learning outcomes, and continuously improve learning initiatives.
* Manage the maintenance of accurate and up to date records of all training delivered and produce a metrics dashboard
Skills and Experience
* In-depth knowledge of learning and development principles and best practice
* In-depth knowledge of competence management systems
* Experience of working with LMS systems.
* Good understanding of health & safety legislation
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
* Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
* Ability to work under pressure and work to tight deadlines while continuing to provide a Quality service.
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a learning and development role.
