Job Description – Permanent Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP / ACP)
Location: Caterham, Surrey
Contract: Permanent, employed directly by the practice
Salary: £54,000 per annum (pro-rata if part-time)
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours/week (very flexible/part-time considered – minimum 30 hours)
Start Date: ASAP or up to 3 months' notice respected
The Role
* 8–10 clinical sessions per week (15-minute F2F + telephone triage mix)
* See acute same-day patients (minor illness/injury, all ages including children)
* Chronic disease management (diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension)
* Women's health, contraception, smears, implants (desirable but training offered)
* Shared home-visiting rota (averaging 2–4 visits per week)
* Full independent prescribing and direct access to all local pathways
* Opportunity to develop a specialist interest (e.g. diabetes, frailty, minor surgery)
* Mentoring of GP registrars and medical students (fully supported)

Essential Requirements
* MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent)
* Independent Prescriber (V300)
* Current NMC registration with no restrictions
* Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience as an ANP in UK general practice
* Confident managing undifferentiated patients of all ages
Desirable
* Experience in a training practice
* Minor surgery / coil & implant insertion
