Position: Trainee Operations Assistant Location: Feltham Hours: Monday to Friday | 09:00 - 17:30 (Office-based) Salary: £25,000 Key Responsibilities for a Trainee Operations Assistant: Handling customer, airline, and supplier calls relating to cargo bookings Supporting airline bookings and coordinating with ground handling agents Coordinating collections and ensuring cargo meets flight cut-off times Assisting with job costing, data entry, and operational reporting Supporting with pricing and preparing quotations for freight forwarders Keeping airlines updated on bookings and available cargo capacity Booking freight directly on airline systems Key Skills for a Trainee Operations Assistant: Polite, well-presented, and professional approach Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail Willingness to listen, learn, and develop within the air cargo industry A genuine desire to build a long-term career in logistics and airline services
