GLL is seeking a General Manager to oversee the Link Centre in Swindon. This role is ideal for a hands-on, customer-focused leader who excels in coaching teams, ensuring outstanding operational standards, and delivering excellent customer service.
As the General Manager of a flagship facility within GLL’s Swindon partnership, you will shape strategic plans to meet operational and financial goals while strengthening relationships with community and business partners. The role offers variety, combining hands-on management with desk-based responsibilities like ensuring compliance and supporting administrative tasks. The centre features include a 100+ station gym, six-lane 25m swimming pool, trampoline park, soft play facility, and ice-skating rink.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing and implementing operational plans
2. Providing leadership to the Centre Team
3. Ensuring legal, regulatory, ethical, and social compliance
4. Encouraging innovation and leading change
5. Supporting team performance and problem-solving
6. Building relationships with external organizations
7. Managing financial aspects
8. Ensuring health and safety standards
9. Overseeing projects and business processes
10. Developing marketing strategies
11. Enhancing customer service and understanding of market needs

Requirements:
