Job Description
Payroll Executive - Responsibilities
9. Provide excellent customer service to clients in professional services.
10. Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation (PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, pension auto enrolment etc).
11. Experience using numerous payroll software platforms
12. Understanding of end-to-end payroll processing and timelines with weekly, monthly and annual pay period.
13. Proven ability to prioritise and manage workload in a calm and logical manner to meet deadlines.
14. Successful at building internal and external relationships and delivering quality client service
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Executive should have...
15. Previous experience in payroll processing within a bureau or multi site environments
16. Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
17. Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications
18. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
19. Excellent communication and organisational skills
20. The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
21. Positive and proactive attitude
22. Able to commute for office based training, then reverting to hybrid working model thereafter (Wokingham)
