Are you a marketing executive wanting to progress to a marketing manager but don’t have the opportunity ahead of you? We are looking for a progressive applicant that wants to learn and build on their existing skills. This unique positions offers an extremely comprehensive, fully structured 12-month, 14 module marketing program. It covers everything you would learn in a marketing degree, with tools, templates, workbooks, practical case-study videos, coaches and networking groups. The program covers everything from building a solid foundation, developing a strategic plan and executing it, whilst demonstrating clear ROI to the management team.

The Role
As the company’s Marketing Executive, you’ll lead the execution of marketing strategy from the ground up. Working alongside the Managing Director, you’ll bring structure, energy and consistency to all aspects of the marketing mix - from brand direction and messaging to campaign delivery and budget planning.

Design and web work is outsourced, but you’ll coordinate the output and ensure it aligns with the company’s commercial goals and have a keen eye for detail to ensure all work produced in on-brand. This is a rare chance to embed marketing as a key business function and influence long-term direction from the SLT table.
Key Responsibilities
* Own, shape and lead the brand and marketing strategy.

* Manage catalogue development with external partners.
* Lay the foundation for a future in-house marketing function.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* B2B marketing experience, ideally in tools, trades, supply, or related industries.
* Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to delivery.
* Results driven
* Strong eye for visual presentation and brand (design outsourced).
* Confident managing multiple channels (digital, content, print).
* A steady, self-motivated personality who enjoys responsibility and variety.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with public sector/council or contractor audiences.
* Experience in SMEs or growing businesses.
* Ambition to build and grow a marketing function.
