Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner - German Speaking
With significant plans for growth and global transformation, NTT GDC is recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner - German Speaking to act as the primary people partner, providing guidance, coaching, and advice to business and functional leaders and the wider employee population.
The successful candidate will be part of the Regional EMEA HRBP team, collaborating closely with Data Center Operations leadership across the EMEA region, with an initial focus on UK/DACH/NL/SP. Partnering with the respective function leads, the role will drive people processes and strategy, organizational design, talent management, and succession planning. This role is integral to our European Operations leadership team, ensuring alignment between people initiatives and business objectives in a fast-paced environment to foster a high-performance culture.
This is a full-time permanent role within a hybrid working environment.
What you will do
1. Provide “eye-level” HR Business Partnering to our Data Center Operations community in Europe.
2. Understand business goals, initiate new approaches and processes to support continuous improvement, organizational design, and effectiveness.
3. Take ownership of HR/ER cases and other areas requiring HR expertise to navigate through change and growth.
4. Guide managers on effective management of their team’s performance using appropriate tools and advice.
5. Advise on people development within existing and new policies and procedures.
6. Align between business and HR on compensation and benchmarking.
7. Assist managers with employee challenges or concerns as a trusted advisor.
8. Support creating a culture of excellence and togetherness aligned with NTT values.
9. Collaborate across HR functions to establish customized, practical solutions.
10. Engage with works council and other representation bodies.
What we are looking for
1. Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably in a multinational/European Tech or IT environment.
2. Strong understanding of organizational design, talent management, and succession planning.
3. Strategic thinker with a proactive, problem-solving approach and commercial awareness.
4. Understanding of Operations and Construction functions.
5. Exposure to 24/7 shift patterns and third-party workforce is desirable.
6. Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
7. Fluent in English and German (verbal and written).
8. Experience working with worker representation/work councils in the DACH region.
9. Willingness to travel approximately 20-25%.
10. Highly client, service, and team-oriented.
